Medical Services Program
This project aims to improve the health outcomes of new comers’ refugees through health awareness; treatment for PLHIV and for TB patients, clinical management of GBV survivors and psychosocial support for the project’s beneficiaries within the associated diseases related to self-imputed or communal stigma and what GBV rape survivors additionally endure from ostracism and rejection within their communities.

1. TB Clinic
6 months to 1-year management for diagnosed TB cases based on TB type through:
- Contact tracing
- Regular consultation every 2 weeks
- Referral for investigation: ESR, X ray, sputum and culture (minimum 3 times during the course of treatment)
- Food bag provided every 2 months for new TB cases.
- Hospitalization in MOH chest hospital .
2. HIV Clinic
- Voluntary Counseling and Testing (VCT).
- Food bags provided every 2 months per year.
- Monthly consultations
- Twice annual investigations (or as needed) for PLHIV (CD4, CBC, kidney function, liver function)
- Management of opportunistic infection and regular vitamin support
- Referral for management at fever hospitals.

3. GBV Survivors
- Rape kits administered.
- PEP for HIV, emergency contraception, presumptive STIs therapy and referral for Tetanus and Hepatitis B vaccination for rape survivors
- Support groups and one-on-one counselling.
- Food bags every 2 months.
4. Health Awareness
Sessions on variety of topics, including PHC and maternal and child health, nutrition, TB and HIV transmission and prevention.

Psychosocial Support Program
1. Screening Services for psychological and mental disorders like depression, anxiety, obsessive convulsive disorders.
2. Referrals for treatment at psychiatric governmental hospitals, including provision of patient advocates and translators (as necessary) to accompany refugees to medical consultations.
3.Internal and External Referral for medical care services.
4. Supply of psychological tools like drawing papers, colors, clay, pictures, puzzles and cubes, stress balls and audiovisual aids for one to one and group therapy sessions for children and adults.
5. Continued awareness raising on the following topics through building networks with refuge leaders in identified communities

- Stalking
- Physical violence
- Forced and early marriages
- Sexual gender based violence including rape.
- Female genital mutilation
- Forced abortion and forced sterilization
