The Episcopal Private School in Menouf

History

The Episcopal Private School in Menouf was founded in the 1930s alongside the medical work that was taking place at Harpur Memorial Hospital. The school developed and offered education to the local community for many years before being requisitioned by the Government in the 1980s. The school was returned to the Church in 1994 and has since become the most popular school in Menouf, known for its excellence in educational provision but also the character of the students it produces.
Today the school is home to around 1300 students from the pre-Kindergarten level to the final preparatory stage (ages 3-15). The students are split across two departments, the majority in the Arabic section, but also a growing ‘Language’ section where students receive the majority of their instruction in English.
