Early Childhood Program

Mission of the Early Childhood Program

We strive to develop an educational system that supports and empowers marginalized and most needy groups, providing educational opportunities for all children without discrimination in the targeted communities. This is achieved through educational and instructional programs and activities based on the comprehensive development of the child (physical, mental, emotional, and social). The child grows comprehensively, integrally, and balancedly, capable of knowing and practicing his rights and duties, enabling him to feel a sense of belonging, accepting and respecting diversity and equality, bearing responsibility, and making decisions. This is facilitated by providing an educational environment based on strategies of play, research, exploration, problem-solving, self-learning, and developing creative abilities within the framework of teamwork, volunteer spirit, and cooperation and partnership with the surrounding community.

Vision of the Education Sector

Providing outstanding educational opportunities to build a beneficial and righteous personality for society.

General Objective of the Program

Providing educational opportunities for children aged 1-6 who are most in need and poorest in the targeted communities, to qualify them cognitively, skillfully, and educationally, and to enhance positive behaviors in preparation for their enrollment in formal and official education.
We serve Egyptians and foreigners of different nationalities and religions.

Work Areas

Programs and Activities

1. Building the Capacities of Early Childhood Program Staff:
We work on empowering nursery staff and enhancing their capabilities (both cognitively and skillfully) to perform their work efficiently and effectively, contributing to better learning outcomes for children and creating distinguished and attractive nurseries.
Developing and preparing a second line of staff in the program through capacity-building and professional development programs for nursery staff, continuous supervision for role exchange, undertaking various responsibilities, and providing the necessary technical and administrative support to achieve professional growth and performance improvement among the team.
2. Developing the Educational Process in Nurseries
Developing nursery curricula and implementing the developed curriculum approved by the Ministry of Education (Curriculum 2.0) in the education sector nurseries, along with the Oxford English curriculum, U-See MATH curriculum, and Montessori and Seeds curricula. We operate under an annual plan to execute educational and instructional activities based on active learning methods that consider individual differences among children.
We prepare and execute initiatives, festivals, open days, recreational and educational activities, and trips in all nurseries, with contributions from the education sector and some self-efforts from the nursery staff. More than 300 children participate in various educational, instructional, and recreational activities during the daily program in nurseries, in addition to the summer activities plan, gymnastics, karate, drawing, and improving reading and writing skills.
Nursery children also enjoy programs like "Art of Etiquette" and "Open Days," which focus on human values and principles to promote positive behaviors and address undesirable behaviors among nursery children. Initiatives are also implemented to raise children's awareness against sexual harassment, using puppet theater to reinforce values and principles.
3. Nutrition and Health Improvement Program for Nursery Children
Implementing a nutrition and health improvement program funded by Embrace for El-Ras El-Soda Nursery, where three healthy meals are prepared and provided weekly, following a nutritious diet to build the child's body: (dairy products, meat or chicken, starches, legumes, vegetables, fruits).
Conducting pre/post medical examinations and analyses for children. The pre-analysis indicated malnutrition issues, while the post-analysis showed health, educational, and behavioral improvements in nursery children.
Implementing a nutrition and support program for the most needy children funded by Grace Roots Foundation at Suez Nursery, conducting the necessary medical analyses for nursery children.
Conducting medical check-ups for children in funded nurseries ("Suez - El-Ras El-Soda") by a specialized pediatrician, and creating a dietary and health program for them. These children consume foods rich in essential nutrients such as vitamins and iron, which are difficult to obtain at home due to living conditions.
Conducting speech therapy sessions for children with speech difficulties at Suez Nursery.
The education sector contributes to implementing the nutritional program and providing cooked and dry meals in nurseries (Ain Shams - El-Tawabeq - Ezbet El-Nakhl). The Early Childhood Program also supports organizing initiatives, activities, and health and behavioral awareness meetings for children and parents.
