Archbishop Dr. Samy Fawzy, Archbishop of the Province of Alexandria of the Episcopal/Anglican Church, mourns the passing of Dr. Makram Ramsis Maximos, former physician at Hermel Hospital in Menouf and uncle of Rev. Osama Fathy, Pastor of St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church in Maadi.
Archbishop Fawzy said:
“We pray that the Lord grants his family and all who loved him comfort and peace from above, and fills their hearts with serenity and hope, knowing that the love and goodness he sowed will live on in memory and in hearts.”
The funeral service is scheduled to take place today at Jesus Light of the World Episcopal Church in Old Cairo at 2:30 p.m., followed by a time of condolences from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the hall of St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church in Maadi.
