Episcopal School in Menouf Organizes Ramadan Iftar

The Episcopal School in Menouf organized a Ramadan Iftar in an atmosphere filled with warmth, affection, and mutual respect, under the patronage of Archbishop Dr. Sami Fawzy, Archbishop of the Province of Alexandria of the Episcopal Anglican Church. The event was attended by Bishop Dr. Mouneer Hanna, Honorary Archbishop and Director of the Christian-Muslim Center, as well as Mr. Magdy Abu El-Saad, the school principal.

The iftar brought together school staff, parents, and students in a friendly setting. The gathering included cordial exchanges of Ramadan greetings, with participants emphasizing the importance of such occasions in strengthening human relationships and promoting values of respect and tolerance.

The school administration expressed its happiness in organizing this event, where everyone came together around a single table in a beautiful expression of love and partnership. It noted that the school consistently strives to remain an educational model that reflects the values of belonging and compassion.

The event was attended by Colonel Ahmed Diab, Colonel Mostafa El-Nashal, and Major Hytham El-Nattat, as well as Fathers Luka, Takla, and Bachom from the Coptic Orthodox Church in Menouf. Also present were Mr. Mahmoud Serag, Director of the Teacher Support and Communication Department at the Menoufia Directorate of Education; Member of Parliament Mr. Amir El-Gazzar; and Counselor Wael Shehab and Anas El-Hamdan.

Religious scholars and preachers from Menoufia also participated, including Sheikh Zein Rabie, Sheikh Walid Ghanem, Sheikh Ahmed Abdel Daim, Sheikh Mohamed Nasser, and Sheikh Amr Al-Kenz.

Members of the school board of trustees were also present, including Mr. Mohamed El-Qot, Dr. Mohamed Abdel Aal (Faculty of Arts, Menoufia University), Mr. Mohamed Zahran, Mr. Mostafa Turk, Ms. Maha Ayyad, Mr. Saeed Arafa (former Director of Menouf Educational Administration), and Mr. Ehab Malik, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Menouf Educational Administration.

The event reflected a strong spirit of community, unity, and shared values, highlighting the school’s commitment to fostering an environment of inclusivity, cooperation, and respect.
