Archbishop Dr. Sami Fawzy, Archbishop of the Province of Alexandria of the Episcopal Anglican Church, extends his heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt; Dr. Ahmed El-Tayeb, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar; Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister; as well as all Islamic leaders and the Egyptian people on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
The Archbishop said:
“We extend our warmest greetings to all Egyptians on the arrival of the blessed month of Ramadan. We pray that it will be a blessed time filled with peace and love for Egypt and its people, and that our country may continue to enjoy goodness, harmony, and unity among all its citizens.”
The Archbishop also conveyed his sincere congratulations to Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Religious Endowments (Awqaf), and Dr. Nazir Ayyad, Grand Mufti of the Republic, praying that God would grant them wisdom and success in their service to the nation.
