The Jusoor Cultural Center, affiliated with the Episcopal/Anglican Church, has concluded its “Beginner Film Directing” workshop, led by director Marian Hanna. The intensive three-day workshop saw great interaction from participants and wide interest in the world of filmmaking.
The workshop covered various topics, including the language of cinema, the tools and roles of a director throughout different stages of film production—from visual composition and lenses to storyboard writing and the art of editing. Participants also engaged in hands-on experiences exploring the world of short narrative and documentary films.
It is worth noting that the center’s vision is to build bridges of love and cooperation among all members of society, from diverse cultures and backgrounds, through art, music, and culture.
