Archbishop of the Anglican Church Congratulates President Sisi and the Egyptian People on Police Day and the Anniversary of the January Revolution

Archbishop Dr. Samy Fawzy, President of the Alexandria Diocese of the Anglican Church, extends his congratulations to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the Egyptian people on the occasion of the 74th Police Day and the 15th anniversary of the glorious January 25 Revolution, wishing Egypt continued security and stability, and its people progress and prosperity under God’s protection and care.

The Archbishop expressed his deep appreciation for the outstanding national role of the police in maintaining the country’s security and stability and safeguarding its resources, affirming that they represent an honorable example of sacrifice and dedication, giving their lives and efforts to ensure the safety of citizens and the protection of Egypt.

He added that the anniversary of the January 25 Revolution represents an important national milestone in which the Egyptian people expressed their hopes for a more just and dignified future, emphasizing that this anniversary will remain a testimony to the awareness, unity, and determination of Egyptians to uphold their right to a better life and to create change through their national will.

The Archbishop concluded with a prayer:
“We lift our hearts in prayer for our beloved country, Egypt. We pray for His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and all those in positions of authority, that God may grant them wisdom in leadership, insight in decision-making, and that all their steps be for the good of the people, the peace of the nation, and its prosperity.”
