Archbishop Dr. Samy Fawzy, Archbishop of the Anglican Province of Alexandria, visited the Sunday School Conference organized by the diocese under the theme “Inside the Tent” (Exodus 25:22). The four-day conference was attended by Rev. Yeshua Bakhit, the conference pastor; Eng. Manal Mansi, Head of the Diocesan Childhood Committee; and Eng. Andrew Aoun Allah, the conference leader.
The Archbishop expressed his joy in participating in the conference activities, where he listened to the children’s hymns and joined them in a discussion about the theme of the conference — the Tabernacle of Meeting, its structure, and its spiritual meanings. During the meeting, the Archbishop engaged the children in an open conversation about the components of the Tabernacle and their spiritual symbolism, attentively listening to their insights and answers.
He concluded his visit by viewing a detailed model of the Tabernacle and inspecting the handicrafts and creative activities prepared by the children themselves, as well as the educational games designed to simplify the concept of the Tabernacle and help them better understand its elements and spiritual significance.
