
Archbishop Dr. Samy Fawzy, Archbishop of the Alexandria Province of the Episcopal/Anglican Church, visited His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark, accompanied by Rev. Yeshua Yacoub, Secretary General of the Egypt Council of Churches, to inquire about His Holiness’s health and well-being.
Archbishop Fawzy expressed his sincere wishes for Pope Tawadros II’s continued good health, emphasizing his deep appreciation for the Pope’s national and spiritual leadership. He added, “We pray that God grants him health and strength to continue his ministry and mission.”
The Archbishop also affirmed the strong fraternal ties among the churches in Egypt, noting that the Church continues to pray for the peace and stability of the country. He further prayed that God would grant wisdom and strength to the nation’s leaders as they continue their efforts to promote the values of love, peace, and unity.
