Archbishop Dr. Samy Fawzy, Primate of the Anglican Episcopal Province of Alexandria, extended his heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and to the Egyptian people, on the occasion of the 52nd anniversary of the glorious October Victory. He affirmed that this great triumph embodies the unity of Egyptians and their deep attachment to their land and identity.
The Archbishop noted that the October Victory marked a turning point in Egypt’s modern history, as Egyptians regained their confidence and proved to the world their ability to overcome challenges and achieve remarkable accomplishments. He emphasized that the same spirit which achieved victory continues to guide the nation’s journey of development and progress.
He concluded by saying: “We pray that God protects Egypt, its leadership, and its people, and that the memory of the October Victory remains a lasting inspiration for us all to pursue greater progress, prosperity, and peace.”
