Episcopal Church Provides Live Sign Language Interpretation and Designates Section for the Deaf at Easter Mass

The Anglican Episcopal Church offered live sign language interpretation and designated a special section for the deaf and hard of hearing inside All Saints’ Cathedral in Zamalek, where Archbishop Dr. Samy Fawzy is leading the Glorious Easter Mass.

The Episcopal Church stated that this service is overseen by Pastor Clement of the Old Cairo Episcopal Church, with Claire Ghais and Ramez Bakhit providing the live sign language interpretation. The church is considered one of the first in Egypt dedicated to serving the deaf and hard of hearing.

The bells of the Episcopal Cathedral had rung earlier inside All Saints’ Cathedral in Zamalek, announcing the start of the Glorious Easter Mass.
