
Archbishop Dr. Samy Fawzy, Archbishop of the Province of Alexandria of the Anglican Episcopal Church, extends his congratulations to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and to the Egyptian people on the official opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum, one of the most significant cultural and civilizational projects of the modern era.
The Archbishop noted that the state’s interest in major cultural projects reflects the political leadership’s belief in the importance of culture and knowledge in shaping and building the Egyptian person. He explained that the Grand Egyptian Museum will contribute to strengthening national identity among future generations and introducing the world to the greatness of Egypt’s history, which spans thousands of years.
