The Archbishop of the Episcopal Church Congratulates His Excellency the President on the Anniversary of the July 23 Revolution

The Most Reverend Dr. Samy Fawzy, Archbishop of the Province of Alexandria of the Episcopal/Anglican Church, extends his congratulations to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, as well as to the leaders of the army and police and to all the Egyptian people on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the glorious July 23 Revolution.

The Archbishop stated that the revolution was not merely a historical moment but the beginning of a long journey of transformation whose effects are still present today, inspiring generations with the spirit of determination and hard work for the sake of Egypt.

He affirmed that the achievements accomplished since the July 23 Revolution continue to testify to the Egyptian people’s determination to build a better future, noting that the revolution reshaped the nation’s identity and redrew the path of dignity and independence.

The Archbishop concluded: “We pray that Almighty God keeps Egypt in goodness and peace and grants her stability and prosperity.”
