Two sports days… The Episcopal/Anglican Church concludes activities for “Together we develop Egypt” in the Manshiet Nasser area.

The youth of the Together we Develop Egypt project concluded its activities in the Manshiet Nasser area in Mokattam with two sports days, with the participation of the sports team of the Episcopal/Anglican Church in Port Said, in the presence of about 200 children from 7 to 14 years old.

The Episcopal/Anglican Church, which sponsors the project, said in a statement: The youth participated in preparing a set of different games that they presented to the children of Manshiet Nasser, as the children were divided into groups from 7 to 9 years old and from 10 to 14 years old, where the games targeted the idea of ​​joint teamwork.

The youth of the initiative had presented, during the events, a range of artistic and cultural activities for the children of Manshiet Nasser, for example, the Pantomime workshop, storytelling in color, teaching the art of etiquette, the art of origami, and painting on murals, in addition to giving lectures on the concept of citizenship from the ancient Egyptian civilization until now.

The project is held under the auspices of the Episcopal/Anglican Church in Egypt, with North Africa and the Horn of Africa, and the Misr El Kheir Foundation.

The project is scheduled to include a set of initiatives and events in the governorates of Cairo, Alexandria, Minya, and the cities of Sadat and Menouf in the Menoufia Governorate.

The project aims to establish strong and real relationships and friendships between young people, develop their capabilities and raise their cultural and civilizational awareness, in addition to the participation of trainees together in implementing practical initiatives that benefit their local communities, with the aim of reaching a degree of integration and quality of work through communication with government agencies and community organizations.
