The head of the Episcopal/Anglican church denounced the displacement of Palestinians in Jerusalem: an insult to humanity

Dr. Mouneer Hanna, Archbishop of the province of Alexandria, denounced the tragedy of displacement of defenseless Palestinians from the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem for the benefit of Jewish settlers amidst the silence of the international community

Hanna considered that the forced displacement of Palestinian families from isolation outside their homes is an insult to humanity and to the international community, which stands idly by in front of the settlements and the Israeli army.

The archbishop appealed to the international community to move to put an end to the tragedy of the Palestinian people, asking for how long to remain silent on these practices, should we wait for another Holocaust to happen? Or until the Palestinians are displaced from the country in which they were born?
