The Episcopal/Anglican Church celebrates Christmas carols by candlelight

The Episcopal/Anglican Church in Egypt celebrates Christmas carols next Friday, which is a celebration that the church holds annually by candlelight and hymns in both Arabic and English

On his behalf, Dr. Mouneer Hanna, Archbishop of Province of Alexandria, said that the Church decided to hold the hymns ceremony at 7 pm, taking into consideration the number of attendees, in compliance with the decision of the Church’s Executive Committee that banned large-scale activities to avoid Corona.

Hanna stressed the commitment to social distancing measures, masks, and disinfectants, in the interest of safety and public health.

While the church celebrates the Christmas mass on the night of the twenty-fourth of December at the church’s headquarters in Zamalek, while New Year’s Eve celebrations have been suspended.
