The Episcopal Care Foundation for Social Services (Episcocare) organized a workshop to introduce the new National Labor Law No. 149 of 2019 and its implementing regulations issued in January 2021 at the Conference Center at All Saints Episcopal Cathedral in Zamalek.
The Episcopal/Anglican Church stated in a statement today that the Foundation hosted Asim El-Khouly, the legal advisor for NGOs and a member of the Board of Directors of the General Union of NGOs, where he reviewed the most important financial and administrative procedures contained in the new law and its executive regulations, in addition to presenting the administrative and financial requirements for reconciling situations during the period specified in the executive regulations.
Dr. Majid Moussa, Director of the EpiscoCare Foundation, said: Representatives of 15 NGOs and civil institutions working in the fields of community development, environmental improvement, cultural development, and friends of children with cancer participated in the workshop.
Moussa pointed out: The activities of this workshop come within the framework of improving institutional efficiency and activating community participation activities that the Foundation seeks to achieve in cooperation with governmental and non-governmental partner institutions in favor of improving work activities with the target groups and communities.
