The bells of the Episcopal/Anglican Cathedral of All Saints in Zamalek rang to announce the start of the Palm Sunday Service in celebration of the anniversary of Christ’s entry into Jerusalem, to begin with, the Holy Week, which ends on the glorious Feast of the Resurrection.
Meanwhile, the procession of Dr. Mouneer Hanna, Archbishop of the Province of Alexandria, for the Episcopal/Anglican Church began to enter to announce the start of the Divine Liturgy prayers, as it left his headquarters, led by deacons, then priests, to the Archbishop of the Church at the end of the ecclesiastical procession that ends with the church structure.
While the cathedral choir sang the hymn “Hosanna in the highest” which celebrates the Entry of Christ and sings as part of the Palm Sunday Mass ritual.
