The Archbishop: The mummies parade dazzled the world and confirmed our Egyptian identity


Dr. Mouneer Hanna, Archbishop of the Province of Alexandria of the Episcopal/Anglican Church, congratulated President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the Egyptians for inaugurating the National Museum of Civilization with the ceremony of transferring royal mummies

Hanna said in a statement today: The ceremony appeared on a global level that dazzled the whole world and attracted the attention of newspapers and international media to confirm the pride of Egyptians in their Pharaonic identity and a civilization that lived among them for thousands of years.

Hanna continued: Dr. Khaled Al-Anani, Minister of Antiquities, presented new evidence of the ability of Egyptians to be proud of their ancient civilization across generations.

He concluded: We pray that God will elevate the status of Egypt and help its leaders for what is good for its people and for it to perpetuate the blessing of security, prosperity, and stability.
