Dr. Samy Fawzy, Archbishop of the Episcopal/Anglican Province of Alexandria, will preside tomorrow at the service of the ordination of the secular servant, Serag Nabil, to become a deacon for the Egyptian parish, and Deacon Daniel Corey to become a pastor for the Sudanese parish at All Saints Episcopal Church in Stanley in Alexandria.

It is worth mentioning that St. Mark’s Cathedral in Alexandria was built on land given by Muhammad Ali Pasha, the governor of Egypt in 1839, and it is the first Episcopal/ Anglican Church in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
