Dr. Samy Fawzy, Archbishop of the Episcopal/Anglican Province of Alexandria, mourned His Eminence Anba Hadra, Metropolitan of the Coptic Orthodox Church in Aswan and one of the elders of the Holy Synod.

The Archbishop offered condolences to His Holiness Pope Tawadros II and the people of the Coptic Church, stressing that the late Metropolitan served the church until his last breath, as he lived as a monk and moved as a hermit serving and living in the churches of Aswan.

The Archbishop prayed to the late Metropolitan that God would rest his soul in the paradise of bliss and pour heavenly consolation into the heart of his family, his lovers, and his disciples.
