The Archbishop mourning John kolta: an intellectual and spiritual stature

Dr. Samy Fawzy, Archbishop of the Episcopal/Anglican Province of Alexandria, mourned Anba Youhanna kolta, Patriarchal Vicar for Catholics, who passed away on Tuesday.

In a statement, the Archbishop said: We lost an intellectual and spiritual stature, as the late Metropolitan was a unique case in his encyclopedic culture and spiritual giving throughout his years of service in the Catholic Church, considering his loss a loss for the whole church.

He added: In my name and in the name of priests, servants, and the people of the Episcopal Church, we bid him farewell to the hope of the Resurrection and we pray to his family and his lovers that God grant them consolation.
