Dr. Samy Fawzy, Archbishop of the Episcopal/Anglican Province of Alexandria, congratulated His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark, on the glorious Christmas
In his congratulations to Pope Tawadros, the Archbishop said: You have served as a symbol of brotherly love among all, extending his congratulations to the Coptic Orthodox as well.
The Archbishop affirmed that the birth of Jesus Christ is a happy occasion in which we remember the values of Christian love and humility that the man-provider child brought to change all humanity with his presence and make a new history based on love and mercy.
In the same context, the Archbishop has instructed the pastors and priests of Episcopal churches in all governorates to exchange congratulations with the sister churches that celebrate the feast according to the eastern calendar. Rev. David Aziz, Dean of the Episcopal Cathedral in Alexandria, congratulated the priests and leaders of the Coptic Church there, and Rev. yashua Bekhit, the assistant dean of the Episcopal Cathedral in Zamalek, congratulated the Coptic churches in the region.
