The Archbishop appoints the legal advisor to the church, “Lay Canon”

Dr. Mouneer Hanna, Archbishop of The Episcopal/Anglican Province of Alexandria, in conjunction with Bishop Sami Fawzy, and Fouad Roushdy, the legal advisor of the church, to become a Lay Canon (an honorary rank granted to the servant in return for his efforts within the church) at the Episcopal Cathedral in Zamalek.

Bishop Hanna said: This honor is a result of the efforts and love made by the legal advisor to the Episcopal/Anglican Church and his assistance in all the legal advice he provided his formulation of the constitution of the parish and the Province, and his contributions to the recovery of many church properties inside and outside Egypt.

This inauguration came at the end of the ceremony held by the Archbishop to honor the old members of the Episcopal/Anglican Church in Egypt who spent more than 20 years of service.
