The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Giza organized a vaccination campaign against the Coronavirus, in cooperation with the South Giza Health Department, in the presence of the head of the South Giza district and the church’s pastor, Reverend Michel Milad.
Rev. Michael, the pastor of the church, said that the vaccination was registered and given to 40 people with chronic diseases and the elderly, provided that the second dose would be in the middle of next August.
While all episcopal churches take into account the necessary precautionary measures and follow the instructions of the Egyptian Ministry of Health, as the church has put some instructions to establish prayers inside its churches, it is not allowed to enter permanently without masks and temperature measurement upon entry, in addition to providing antiseptics for worshipers, disinfecting and sterilizing the church before and after worship, in addition to taking into consideration social distancing between worshipers, as the Episcopal Church calls on its people to notice any symptoms that appear on them before attending prayers, and whether this requires staying at home.
