Head of the Episcopal/Anglican church mounrning Sawiris: A patriot who has not forgotten his social responsibility

Dr. Samy Fawzy, Archbishop of the Episcopal Church in Egypt, mourned the industrialist, Onsi Sawiris, who passed away yesterday.

And the Episcopal/Anglican Church said in a statement: We bid farewell to the hope of the Resurrection a man who gave a lot of effort and sweat to his homeland Egypt in various industrial and economic fields and did not forget his role in the development of Egyptian society or in the field of social responsibility.

The statement added: Bishop Samy Fawzy, on behalf of the Synod of the Episcopal/Anglican Church and the people of the Church, offers his deepest condolences to the family of the late deceased represented by his wife, Mrs. Yusriya Louza, and his sons, businessmen Naguib, Samih and Nassef Sawiris

The statement concluded: We pray that God pours heavenly consolation into the hearts of his family and loved ones and that He has compassion on all.
