Dr. Mouneer Hanna, Archbishop of the Province of Alexandria, mourned His Royal Highness Prince Philip, the husband of Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth II of England.

In a statement, Hanna said that the Church extends its condolences to the Royal Family in Britain, to the British people, and to the Archbishop of Canterbury on the death of the late Prince.

And Hanna considered that the late prince presented a model in loyalty and commitment to serving the British crown, as he lived a busy life in which he devoted himself to serving the United Kingdom, its people, and its Anglican Church, from his marriage to Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth II until his death.
