Archbishop mourns Bishop Lucas: We lost an honest bishop

Dr. Samy Fawzy, Archbishop of the Episcopal/Anglican Province of Alexandria, offered his condolences to His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria, on the death of Anba Lucas, Bishop of Assiut and Al-Fath, after a struggle with illness.

The Archbishop said: In my name, and in the name of the priests and people of the Episcopal/Anglican Church, we mourn a faithful servant and faithful bishop who served the Church for more than 35 years, during which he was distinguished by honesty and generosity.

The Archbishop prayed to his family and loved ones that God pour his condolences and have mercy on them.
