Dr. Mouneer Hanna, Archbishop of the Province of Alexandria of the Episcopal/ Anglican Church, will participate in the Armenian Genocide Memorial Mass, presided over by Bishop Krikor Koussa, Bishop of the Armenian Catholics, at the Armenian Church in Heliopolis.
On his behalf, Hanna said in a statement issued by the Episcopal/Episcopal Church today: The Armenian genocide committed by Turkey against the Armenians during the First World War is a stain on the face of the Turks that no time can erase: that Turkish President Erdogan is following in the footsteps of his predecessors and renewing the tragedies in Armenia again these days.
Hanna said in his statement: The Turkish regime continues its crimes against humanity on several levels, whether at home or abroad
Hanna expressed his condolences to the Armenian people in the memory of this heinous massacre that claimed the lives of thousands of innocent people and caused the Armenian diaspora in various parts of the world so that Egypt received some of them in the meantime.
