The College has set several conditions for enrollment, the most important of which is the spiritual standard, as the applicant should be able to demonstrate spiritual commitment as well as the academic standard of theological skills in writing and oral discussion to continue the study and to enjoy service standards such as leadership talents, education, preparation, and care.
In a statement, Bishop Sami Fawzi, Dean of the Faculty of Theology, added that we accept applicants from any sectarian or theological background, whatever they may be, who are willing to worship, study and live as part of the college community according to the bishopric tradition, referring to the financial criteria that include the student’s ability to pay for the study expenses (2000 Egyptian pounds per year)
The Alexandria school of theology was founded in 2005 and aims to train secular servants and candidates to be priests for the service of the church.
