“Al Manara” organizes trainings to develop personal and academic skills for people with disabilities
Al-Manara Center for Children with Disabilities in Menouf of the Episcopal/ Anglican Church organizes, today, Saturday, a regular meeting for parents, where the teaching staff discusses with families the preparations for the new school year in light of the Corona pandemic and enjoys the families’ observations and requirements.
In the same context, the center organizes a number of activities throughout the current month of October, the most important of which are mini-exercises for children to buy vegetables from the market and prepare meals themselves and with the help of teachers, in addition to handicraft exercises for children that enable them to prepare handicrafts from beads and introduce them to the principles of sewing and wax making, in addition, to follow up the implementation of the daily and academic educational program for children, following the Montessori program, in order to provide continuous support and guidance.
Al-Manara Center for Serving People with Special Needs is a center affiliated with the Episco Care Foundation for Social Services, which represents the Samaritan arm of the Presidency of the Episcopal/ Anglican Church in Egypt. The Foundation runs the development and social services centers and institutions of the Episcopal/Anglican Church in Egypt.
