Al Manara Center organizes a New Year’s Eve party

Al-Manara center for Children with Disabilities in Menouf – affiliated with the Episcopal/Anglican Church, organized a New Year’s Eve party in the presence of 33 children and 11 teachers.

On her behalf, Janet Shamey, Director of the Center, said: The party’s paragraphs varied between entertainment and awareness of the dangers of harmful and unhealthy food by providing simple information to children through the puppet theater, in addition to entertainment competitions and the distribution of gifts to children.

Al-Manara center for Children with Disabilities in Menouf works to provide educational programs in and around Menouf to improve their academic, social, and personal skills, in addition to providing support to their parents.

Al-Manara Center for People with Special Needs is a center affiliated with the Episcopal Foundation for Social Services (Episcocare), which is the Samaritan arm of the Episcopal/ Anglican Church in Egypt. The Foundation manages the development centers and institutions and social services affiliated with the Episcopal/Anglican Church in Egypt.

In the year 2003, the institution was officially registered with the Ministry of Social Solidarity to support people with special needs and provide rehabilitation and education services for them after the church noticed a lack of these services in the city of Menouf, Menoufia Governorate.
