A sports day and youth workshops… The Episcopal/Anglican church continues the activities of “Together We Develop Egypt” in Minya
The youth of the Together We Develop Egypt project continue their activities in Minya by organizing a sports day for 60 children from the villages of Jabal Al-Tair and Bani Khaled.
The church stated: The children participated in all the games, and this was the first time that the children of Bani Khaled visited the village of Jabal Al-Tair, and the team spoke with children about the values of sharing, cooperation, and love.
The church added in its statement: The initiative carried out a workshop for the youth of the project, with the participation of 15 young men and women from the village of Jabal Al-Tair, on different personality types and how to discover ourselves. Test personality patterns with the participants and talks about the advantages and disadvantages of each personality.
The project is held under the auspices of the Episcopal/Anglican Church in Egypt, with North Africa and the Horn of Africa, and the Misr El Kheir Foundation.
The project is scheduled to include a set of initiatives and events in the governorates of Cairo, Alexandria, Minya, and the cities of Sadat and Menouf in the Menoufia Governorate.
The project aims to establish strong and real relationships and friendships between young people, develop their capabilities and raise their cultural and civilizational awareness, in addition to the participation of trainees together in implementing practical initiatives that benefit their local communities, with the aim of reaching a degree of integration and quality of work through communication with government agencies and community organizations.
