A lecture on coexistence… Completing the activities of the Together we development Egypt project in Alexandria.
The Project continues its program in Alexandria Governorate, in el Ras el Soda community, as the activities are complemented by a lecture on peaceful coexistence between Muslim and Christian youth.
Moheb Shafiq, Secretary of the Copts for the Nation, said in a lecture he gave to youth: Coexistence in its comprehensive sense is the acceptance of difference and the benefit of diversity to enrich the life we live, and that this will not happen by talking about it only, but by activating it within the community in neighborhoods and homes.
Moheb added: Young people in the Together Project for the Development of Egypt have a message to convey to society after practicing actual coexistence through project activities over a year because accepting difference achieves development that brings goodness, development, and peace at the individual and collective level.
The project is being held under the auspices of the province of Alexandria of the Episcopal/Anglican Church in Egypt, with North Africa, and the Horn of Africa, and the Misr El-Kheir Foundation.
The project will include a set of initiatives and events in the governorates of Cairo, Alexandria, Minya, and the cities of Sadat and Menouf.
The project aims to establish strong and real relationships and friendships between young people, develop their capabilities and raise their cultural and civilizational awareness, in addition to the participation of trainees together in implementing practical initiatives that benefit their local communities, with the aim of reaching a degree of integration and quality of work by communicating with government agencies and community organizations that works in the same direction that their initiative is related to.
