Together We Develop Egypt and Deaf Unit visit Governmental School

To continue investing in the community, Rev. Emil Nabih, Reverend in-charge of Jesus Light of the World church, and Sheikh Hany Shams, Professor in Islamic Center for Research, along with Sheikh Selim Wassef, Together We Develop Egypt Coordinator; visited the governmental school in Amro Street in Old Cairo on February 4th, which was recently cleaned by the deaf youth as part of “Together We Develop Egypt” project and reopened by Dr. Ali Gomaa, the former Grand Mufti, together with Minister Ahmed Gameladine, the adviser for President Sisi, and Bishop Mouneer.

In the visit, the previously mentioned leaders visited the classes to encourage the students to work in harmony with each other to Egypt clean especially Amro St. where the school was located. They also gave some recommendations to preserve the beauty of the street. The visit, also, included few students from the neighboring Deaf Unit aiming for their integration as well as better future partnership between the two schools on both levels; administration and students.
